Adventurous -I see myself as someone who constantly seeks for new adventure opportunities and I am blessed with these opportunities since my time in secondary school. -Valuable experiences gained from the activities i had participated in National Cadet Corps and from organising events in Ngee Ann Polytechnic such as Innovation & Enterprise In Action(I&E) and Enterprise Creation & Development(ECD). -I am able to connect to teenagers in secondary schools and youths my age better as I am able to understand how about planning the suitable adventure activities to enable self discovery for them. Responsible -I strive for the best in the task given to me and would not push the blame to other people if I am the one responsible of committing something wrong. -I worked hard, pushing my limits all to strive for the best that I can achieve as it is my responsibility to make it happen. Leadership -I have confidence in leading a group of students as I have experiences in organizing and leading in various activities in my secondary school and in Ngee Ann Polytechnic. -Involved in the planning some NCC events, from amazing race at Sentosa, to a 3D2N leadership camp for the whole NCC unit. -Involved as a facilitator and leads a group of freshies in the year 2009, School of Business and Accountancy Orientation Camp(BAOC). -Through these experiences, it builds up my confident to speak in front of people and leading them towards a common goal. -As a former head of NCC training committee (2006-2007), former leader of NCC drum troupe(2006-2007), and currently the vice-president of the Fuhua Ngee Ann Polytechnic Alumni Chapter(2009-present), I am sure that I can lead people well. -I have always believed in the importance of self awareness of one's true potential, as well as the importance of acquiring one's sense of direction in what they want in their lives. -Having to been through many adventure courses and events, it certainly changed my life. -I am interested and confident in changing people's life and helping them know more about their true potential and having their sense of direction in their lives. Fuhua Secondary School Goh Chian Kiap was a student of Fuhua Secondary School from January 2004 to December 2007. He was in the Express Stream and sat for the Singapore-Cambridge GCE ‘O’ Level Examination in 2007. Chian Kiap is a pleasant and courteous person. His sociable and outgoing disposition enables him to make friends easily. He also gets on well with his peers. He is an optimist who looks on the bright side of things and will not let setbacks get him down. He is also a tolerant person who is open to new or different ideas and perspectives. He is physically active and enjoys sporting activities. Chian Kiap is a responsible and diligent student who approaches his studies with commendable commitment and discipline.
